TALK MORE, PLAY BETTER

BREAKING THE ICE: TALK MORE, PLAY BETTER

When athletes feel mentally fit they can play better. Breaking the Ice teaches young hockey players how to talk about mental health, get help when needed and overcome life's challenges. This program is multi-layered and includes educational workshops and materials for athletes, parents and coaches.

You'll learn how to start conversations about mental health and recognize warning signs of mental health problems. You'll also gain the skills to help a friend out who might be going through a tough time. At the end, you'll have sharper skills to overcome challenges in hockey and in life.
